Positive Thinking Is Proven To Work

And if positive thinking works for so many other issues in life, why not use it for the purpose of growing taller? It works in people situations, achieving one’s dreams, and doing the impossible.

Life is full of instances where positive thinking works.

Why Not Apply Positive Thinking To Growing Taller?

When you want to grow taller, there are many people touting different solutions online and offline. That’s to be expected.

After all, whatever problem we’re facing, someone has solved it and they want to share their solution.

But sometimes the solutions for different problems are kind of worthless.

One that I’ve often seen or heard from friends about the topic of people who want to grow taller is this one: just believe you’re going to grow taller and you will. Parents love to tell kids this.

They say that if their child repeats the statement over and over again, one day the child will wake up and find that he did grow taller.

This is an example of real positive thinking. The process is that you make a positive statement, called an affirmation, and then you repeat it over and over again. You don’t do anything else, just continue saying the statement out loud.

Some People Center Their Life Around Positive Thinking

Some people get extremely excited about positive thinking and do a lot more.

They’ll post the statement – I am growing taller each and every day – for example, on a post-it or stick-umm on the mirror, on the refrigerator, in the car on the dashboard, above their bed, and on their computer.

Some even post it in the bathroom. Now, there’s nothing wrong with being positive.

Believe me, I know, because my friends think of me as one of the most positive people they know.

Positive Thinking Can Be Positive Stupidity

But the problem is that when it comes to making a huge physiological response in the body such as increasing your height, you have to do more than just use some positive thinking exercises.

For example, here’s what I mean:

• Stunted Sammy, Picky Eater

Sammy is 5’3” tall and his parents are 5’11”. He still has 4 years to grow but for some reason, seems a little stunted.

Sammy is a picky eater and literally picks at his food on the plate at meals.

He really doesn’t eat enough calories. And if Sammy continues to not eat enough calories, he won’t grow. The body needs calories to expend for the energy it takes to grow new bones.

Sammy can say all the positive thinking messages he wants until the end of time but until he eats more calories, his body is limited in growing taller. It’s that simple.

• Bobby’s Bodybuilding Program Should Be Enough

Bobby is 5’5” tall and wants to be 3 inches taller. He’s working out and building his body’s muscles and stays to a pretty regimented program of 5 days a week. His muscles are growing but he still wants to grow taller.

Bobby can say all the positive thinking affirmations he wants while he’s working out but his body is using the energy he consumes in calories to grow wider, not grow taller. Until he lays off some of that bodybuilding, he won’t grow taller.

• Maddie Loves Animals Too Much

Maddy is 5’6” tall and wants to be a model. She eats her fruits and vegetables and stays away from fats. She likes nuts and especially peanut butter for protein.

At an early age, Maddy visited a slaughterhouse and won’t eat any meat. She can’t help but remember the faces of the animals, locked in fear. She does her positive affirmations daily.

Well, here we have another case where positive thinking is never going to be enough to help her grow taller. You can’t grow taller unless you get enough protein in the diet and she refuses to eat any animal products at all.

Maddy can say all the positive thinking statements 24/7 and even have an endless loop of them playing on her mp3 player or other device and still it won’t be enough to help her grow taller.

Sooner or later she is going to have to address the bottom line problem: she doesn’t have enough protein in her diet so she can grow taller.

You can’t expect the body to operate without the foundation blocks it needs. You wouldn’t expect your car to run unless it had gasoline right – or would you think that positive thinking will get it working when the gas tank is on empty?

Positive thinking is good – but only when it’s combined with appropriate actions that support your goal to grow taller. Please remember this.

What You Should Know">

Real Reasons To Prescribe Growth Hormone For Height?

It’s only recently – less than 10 years ago that the FDA made the decision to allow growth hormone for height increases to be given as a prescription.

The driving force was Eli Lilly Pharmaceutical Company, who had spent 15 years collecting data on how human growth hormone could benefit kids with a condition where they failed to grow.

That condition is technically called idiopathic short stature. The word “idiopathic” means no one knows the cause.

Here’s why Eli Lilly felt so compelled to do it:

1. If kids between the ages of 7 and 15 were lower than 1.2 percentile for height, they would be considered short. (Eli Lilly’s definition)

2. This would mean that 400,000 kids were ripe for the prescription. After all, who wants to be short, and be bullied?

3. In one trial, injections given three times a week for four years increased the height of 1-1/2 inches.

4. In a European trial, the injections increased height 2-1/2 inches but higher and more doses were used.

5. In 1985, a genetically-engineered version of the drug was given to about 200,000 patients worldwide without any safety concerns. There had been no serious or long-term side effects.

They had to convince the FDA about the answer to the question, Does growth hormone make you taller?

But what they never established was whether or not the kids benefited psychologically or if the $20,000 price tag per year was well worth it. The use of growth hormone for height wasn’t really proven to be clinically meaningful.

Perhaps The Question Is Whether Height Enhancement Is Ethical, And For Whom

Nevertheless, thousands of children have benefited although the FDA decision makes one wonder if the use of drugs for cosmetic reasons – the enhancement of height – is really that ethical.

Medical experts disagreed with the approval saying that it turned short stature into a disease.

Growth Hormone For Height Prescriptions Bring In Millions In Profit

In the next year after the FDA approval for the drug, growth hormone for height prescriptions went through the roof.

Here’s a little chart of the drug sales for the year 2004:

Eli Lilly

$430 Million

Pfizer

$736 million

Genentech

$354 Million

Novo

$379 Million

Sereno

$268 million

How Growth Hormone Was Discovered

Back in 1956, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine failed to obtain results in a young infant who wouldn’t grow when they used growth hormone that came from the pituitary gland of cows.

Two years later Tufts University scientists cracked the code when they used growth hormone from human cadavers.

It took 365 cadavers to treat one child for one year, according to Stephen Hall, author of Size Matters.

Soon a black market developed for the growth hormone, and by 1963, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine physician Robert M. Blizzard was appointed to oversee the National Hormone and Pituitary Program, started by the National Institutes of Health.

Isn’t There Something Wrong With Getting Growth Hormone From Cadavers?

But one can only wonder why tragedy didn’t strike for over a decade. Biblical scholars say that we have been given specific instructions in the Bible on how to live, many which include health.

One of the clearest instructions is on the immediate disposal of the body after death, not the reusing of organs. A dead man or dead animal is considered unclean. And apparently for a legitimate reason.

In 1985, 24 patients came down with a severe neurological disease called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, a form of mad-cow disease.

The cause was contaminated growth hormone. This put a stop on all growth hormone for height prescriptions in both the U.S. and in Europe.

But Wait! Sales Can’t Stop! Someone Should Be The Provider

The company Genentech then came to the rescue and offered its genetically-engineered variety for free, but only for a year. After that, the price went up to $10,000 to $15,000 a year.

Human Growth Hormone: When To Stop Its Use Is The Question

Some experts in the field still question the effectiveness of human growth hormone for height. If they’re short, they’ll still be short after the treatment.

Is the modest height increase even worth it? How can it be proven that the growth hormone even made a difference compared to what might have happened without it?

The biggest ethical consideration applies for those who do attain normal height with growth hormone, and then continue to use it. Is this ethical? Is height becoming a biological option?

Question About Genetically Engineered Hormones

Conservative health advocates question the use of genetically-engineered anything, whether it’s food, drug, or even animals. And it’s just too early to tell what the damage could be.

You won’t know the answer to the question of does growth hormone make you taller unless you take it but there is another option.

Maybe we should go back to the drawing board and try to discover the real roots of why a person doesn’t grow tall instead of trying to force it to happen.

Can surgery increase height? The answer is yes, but it depends.

This Teen Agrees That Surgery Increases Height

For example, back in 2008, newscasts reported that one teenage girl with scoliosis and only 5’1” tall, ‘grew’ 5 inches as a result of surgery to correct the scoliosis.

This makes a lot of sense since scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the spine. The spine twists and turns like a snake instead of being straight in scoliosis.

If you can dream up a way to stretch the ends of the spine so that the curvature of the scoliosis becomes a straight line, you’d have an immediate increase in height.

And that’s what doctors did when they inserted titanium rods in her back to help straighten the spine.

The teen was so happy that she proceeded with her childhood dream of being a model and an agency signed her up.

Can Surgery Increase Height Otherwise?

But what about the idea of surgery increasing height for other conditions?

Well, unless you think of another way to increase height with surgery on the spine, it’s not happening.

If you look at the spine itself, however, in between the vertebrae are disks composed of a spongy material.

This spongy material is composed primarily of water but does include several different vitamins and minerals. Each disk could be a good half inch tall.

How Much Height Comes From Your Disks

So let’s calculate how much of your height comes from disks, using just a standard measurement of ½ inch as an average:

‣ 7 cervical vertebrae, 5 disks

2-1/2 inches

‣ 12 thoracic vertebrae, 12 disks

6 inches

‣ 5 lumbar vertebrae, 6 disks

3 inches

TOTAL

11-1/2 inches

That’s quite a bit. Now if one of those disks collapses, the ends of the vertebrae above it could sit on top of the ends of the vertebrae below it. There would be a loss of at least ½ inch.

It’s not only a disk that can collapse, but also the vertebrae body itself. A vertebrae could be an inch tall, but when it collapses, it can end up flat as a pancake. That’s a loss of one full inch for every vertebrae that collapses.

Let’s calculate how much of the spine is from the vertebral bodies, based on the average of one inch per vertebral body:

‣ 5 cervical vertebrae that have bodies

5 inches

‣ 12 thoracic vertebrae bodies

12 inches

‣ 5 lumbar vertebrae bodies

5 inches

TOTAL

22 inches

That’s a minimum of 22 inches, and a lot of room for a loss of height, especially if someone refuses to do anything about their osteoporosis or poor bone density!

What To Do When You Lose Height From Disk Herniation

In some people, more than one disk collapses. Their spinal tissue is in a state of degeneration which results in multiple disks collapsing.

In this case, surgery is often needed. The person has lost an inch or even 2 or 3 inches of height. There are two types of surgical procedures that could be done to correct this.

1. Spinal Fusion Surgery

In this surgery, bone fragments may be added to the nearby vertebrae where the disk has collapsed. As the person heals from the surgery, the bones fuse together and some titanium rods hold the bones together.

The problem with this surgery is that all the height that was lost remains lost. The person is officially an inch or two or three shorter, forever.

And there’s quite a bit of pain from the restricted movement in the spine as a result of the fusion.

2. Insertion of a New Disk

Luckily, there is a new option, and one that makes more sense. In the creation of a new disk, collagen is used to form a sponge.

The sponge is soaked with water and bone proteins and then inserted inside a titanium cage that is about the same dimensions as the normal disk.

The titanium cage is inserted in between the vertebrae after the remaining pieces of the old disk is removed. Next a rubberized silicon matter is injected into the cage and it hardens, forming a new disk.

The best part about this is that the person now is just as tall as they were before the disk herniated. They regained that half inch or so.

Can Surgery Increase Height? Sure, But What About Increasing Height Without Surgery?

Perhaps the easiest way to increase one’s height – without surgery – is to examine factors that can keep the disks healthy in the first place.

1. Not Enough Water

One of the reasons that disks collapse and herniated is simple: not drinking enough water.

The state of one’s hydration determines the health of the disk.

Water feeds the disks and keeps them plumped up, nice and healthy.

2. Gelatin And Cartilage

So does eating things like gelatin and chicken or beef cartilage, or even shark cartilage. The different types of cartilages are similar in composition to human cartilage.

3. Silica And Other Minerals

Silica is another major component of disk material, and it can easily be supplied in the body by adding diatomaceous earth powder. For this, it really must be only one kind: the kind that is edible.

It should be marked “US Food Grade” on the bag; otherwise it isn’t suitable for consumption.

Silica, as well as other minerals like calcium, magnesium, zinc, strontium, and boron is often deficient in the body of anyone over the age of 20.

This results in poor bone density. And poor bone density makes the vertebrae collapse.

Really, the first thing to get started doing if you want your height back or to increase your height is to eat right and drink enough fluids, and don’t forget your supplements.

Can surgery increase height? Sure but why count on it unless you have a serious medical condition.

Height and success or height and earning power: if you ask anyone if there’s a connection, most people will say, yes absolutely there is one. But where did this idea come from anyway?

You might be pretty surprised.

Biblical Evidence Now Confirms Giants

Certainly giants have been with us since the beginning of time. The Bible has accounts of giants that caused fear in the land.

In one account, giants scared 10 out of 12 Israelite spies so much that they wouldn’t enter the Promised Land because of them, and the 10 were killed by God later for fearing the giants.

Obsession With Tall Men Took Over The Military And Political Arena

In the 1700s, King Frederick William of Prussia, had an obsession with men who were tall and would pay any price to recruit them into his army.

Between 1713 and 1740 when he reigned, King Frederick William stuffed the Prussian army with tall men and ended up with 83,000 of them at the end.

So convinced of the connection between height and military success, he pointed out that taller men took longer strides, could throw a weapon farther, and they could easily reload the long-barreled muskets used during that time.

No one under the height of six feet was allowed into the army, and the head of the army was 7 feet tall.

What was happening in Prussia became a fad in other parts of the world, and the kicker is that tall men were traded politically as commodities or given as gifts from one country, especially Russia, to Prussia.

Frederick William even hired agents to kidnap and smuggle them to him for use in his army. He even initiated laws where they could only mate with tall women to get more tall men for his army.

To The Aristocracy, Height Equaled Power And Dominion

His experiment in eugenics didn’t work, but nevertheless, greater height translated to greater market value. But not only that, being tall also meant a person had moral strength and social domination.

Using Height To Their Advantage

It’s no surprise that men tried to desert the army shortly after Frederick William died. And because height was used as a method of identification, tall men used it to their advantage.

They would sleep during the daytime as well as night, since a person gains about an inch in height after a good night of sleep.

Height And Earning Power In Athletes: Obvious Connection

When thinking of the connection between height and earning power now, all one has to do is think of the salaries of basketball players, the largest congregation of tall people in today’s times.

Do they make more than most of the population? Yes, absolutely.

Studies On Height And Earning Power Over The Last 50+ Years

In 1969, the front page of the Wall Street Journal contained a summary of one of the first studies on height and earning power.

If headhunters had to choose between two equally qualified candidates, 75% of the time, those who were taller got the job.

And research out of the University of Pennsylvania stated that men taller than 6’2” had incomes 12.4% higher than those under 6’. That’s pretty significant.

Here’s a quick chart to show that difference:

Income Level

Income Level for Tall Men

$50,000

$56,000

$60,000

$67,200

$70,000

$78,400

$80,000

$89,600

$100,000

$112,400

That 12.4 percent increase could now account for the purchase of a second car, a nice down payment of a boat, or a nice wardrobe.

CEO’s Are Tall In The U.S.

In the U.S., according to Malcolm Gladwell, author of Blink, only 14.5 percent of males in the U.S. are six feet tall or taller, yet 58 percent of the CEOs were in that height category.

Surprising Findings On Height And Earning Power

Probably the most interesting study on height and success or height and earning power was the one done by Persico and Postlewaite who used data from long-term studies to determine the connection.

Here are their findings:

1. Every inch of additional height added 2.2% more income if you were British.

2. Every inch of additional height added 1.8% more income if you were American.

3. The tallest 25% earned 13% more income than the shortest 25%.

4. The income discrepancies for height were about equal to prejudices against women or certain races.

The most surprising finding of all was that an individual’s height during adolescence predicted future income. The scientists said that height at age sixteen uniquely influences future wages.

Something happens between the ages of 11 and 16 that influences income, and it’s possibly social activity, sports activity, or even the timing of puberty. No one can say for sure.

Resource: Size Matters, by Stephen Hall, 2006.

If you are of a shorter stature then you are probably always looking for great information and tips to grow taller. There are excellent ebooks available that give you height increasing tips regarding exercise, diet, sleep, and many other related topics.

For you to better understand how take advantage all of this information, you need to understand what makes your body grow and how you can use it to your advantage.

Even before you are born, your body is in a rapid state of growth. It stays in a state of growth, usually occurring in spurts, until puberty is complete.

After puberty, you will naturally grow slightly more until about age 30. This growth is a result of Human Growth Hormone, or HGH.

HGH is composed of a complex set of amino acids and is released into your bloodstream by your endocrine system, specifically your pituitary gland. Once in your bloodstream, your brain signals your body to begin using the HGH.

HGH serves many functions. It helps your body turn fat into energy needed for growth. It triggers regeneration and enlargement of organs and muscles.

Most importantly with relevance to height, HGH directs your bones to increase in size and strength. One of the best tips to increase height is to learn how to get your body to make more HGH and how to prepare your body to use the HGH more effectively.

Your brain controls when and how much HGH is released into your system. One of the best tips on how to grow taller is that if you will want to trigger your brain to release more HGH.

Also, you will want to stimulate your brain to use that HGH for growth and not just for repair. Training your brain in this manner means that you have to carefully focus and discipline yourself in several areas of your life.

Sleep is essential to increasing your HGH and therefore growth. This is the peak time when your brain releases HGH and begins to use it within your body.

Of the many tips for growing taller, getting enough sleep is very important. You need to have enough sleep time for your body to unwind from the day’s activities and begin the restoration and growth process.

If you get too little sleep, you will not give your body enough time to release, circulate, and use the HGH in your system. If you are chronically sleep-deprived your brain will be too distracted to focus on growing at all.

However, if you create a good sleep environment where you can get at least 8 hours of deep sleep, you are giving your brain the biggest incentive to release increased quantities of HGH and make you grow.

Eating right is another one of the important height increase tips. As we discussed earlier, HGH is made from amino acids. Amino acids are derived from protein which you must supply your body in order to boost your HGH levels.

You need to have protein in good proportions if you expect to grow. However, protein alone will not make you grow. Fats, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, and Minerals are all apart of good nutrition. Each of these items, in the right amounts, will compliment each other to help release more HGH and build a taller, stronger you.

Furthermore, you must monitor when you eat. If you eat too much food too late in the day, it will keep your body focused on digestion all night instead of releasing HGH.

On the other hand, if you eat smaller meals throughout the day, you will be giving your body just the right amount of the nutrients it needs to release the optimum amounts of HGH.

Another one of the better height increase tips available to produce extra HGH is to develop an effective grow taller exercise program. Scientific studies have shown that the brain releases a larger quantity of HGH after aerobic exercises.

However, you need to prepare your body for growth so that your body does not use the HGH for simply repairs. If you follow up your higher impact exercises with an anaerobic routine, the stretching will help your muscles and cartilage decompress.

This will make it more receptive to the HGH and help trigger growth.

Your body is a very complex machine, so there are many different ways to increase your levels of HGH. Exercise, diet, and sleep play a major role in how much HGH is released in your system and how it is used, but so do many other factors. You must overcome all of these factors before you will be able to best increase and use HGH.

The ebook Grow Taller 4 Idiots can offer you very good tips to grow taller by increasing your levels of HGH. Not only can the book teach you to boost your levels of HGH, it can help you get your body prepared to use the HGH for growth.

The book will help you set up an ideal sleep environment and give you some relaxation techniques so that your body can produce the most HGH during your rest. Also, there are great tips to grow taller by using diet and nutrition to increase your HGH.

Furthermore, the book will help you set up a complete exercise program that helps you maximize the HGH in your system. Finally, Grow Taller 4 Idiots will help you understand the other factors that affect your body’s production and utilization of HGH.

If you use these tips to increase height and boost your levels of HGH, you will be giving your body the building blocks it needs to grow.

By now you’ve probably come across some of the natural ways available to you which can help you grow taller, but you’re probably also wondering about other alternative techniques that may be available to help increase your height also.

Sometime individuals feel the benefits of using alternative methods to increase their height is more suited to their particular circumstances, so here’s an explanation of what’s available today.

There are two primary alternative methods:

1) Using Growth Hormones

By using growth hormones found in products like glycine, glutamine, agrinine, ornithine, niacin, and 16 other amino acids which you can get with or without a prescription you can often boost your bodies growth response and increase your height this way.

These type of substances are often used by bodybuilders and powerlifters alike to achieve the sort of immense physiques you are accustomed to seeing on cable TV!

Some of these products are claimed to have other positive benefits such as being an effective antioxidant, helping to boost your immune system and even helping the body to recover after a trauma or injury.

However you must not forget that often, there are a range of possible side effects with these type of products which can be used to help increase your height.

More often than not this can include diarrhea, headache, drowsiness, muscle spasms, dizziness, high blood pressure, nervousness, depression, hair loss, gaining weight, and others too.

2) Human Growth Hormone To Increase Height

The second major alternative way to increase height is through a substance called HGH or Human Growth Hormone, which is a man made hormone that is often very expensive.

It is administered through a series of injections which supply the body with human growth hormone to increase height.

This is perhaps one of the more drastic and certainly more expensive ways to resort to and needs to be prescribed by your doctor or specialist.

This particular option is not without its own risks though.

For instance the possibility of liver problems and abnormal liver function is greatly increased, as it the potential for developing musculo-skeletal disease and carpel tunnel syndrome, so be very wary before considering this type of treatment.

The other problem with using HGH to help increase height is that once you begin a course of injections, your body will natural cease to produce these chemicals itself, which means it will not longer produce natural growth hormones after you finish taking your HGH course.

You may feel that these treatments discussed above are far to dangerous and have too many complications for you to seriously consider them as an option to help increase your height.

You may be better off trying one of the other methods available of increasing your bodies natural levels of growth hormone.

Your options are explained in detail here in this eBook Grow Taller 4 Idiots, which is based on a more conventional, organic and natural approach.

Grow Taller 4 Idiots talks about the importance of consuming not only the correct types of food, but also the right balance of food too, explaining how the vitamins and minerals contained within the foods you eat have an effect on the processes that take place within your body.

Covering the entire spectrum of fats, carbohydrates, water, vitamins and minerals the ebook dedicates entire chapters to each which ensures the reader is fully briefed and completely aware about the important role foods play in your attempts to grow taller.

The second chapter of the system is entitled ‘improving posture for better height‘ and is a detailed discussion on posture and height related issues.

Many of us will be totally unaware that improving your posture can have a dramatic effect on your height. This chapter also covers common problems associated with posture such as tilted pelvis, bow legs and rounded shoulders.

Don’t worry, there are remedial exercises later in the ebook which will help you improve these conditions and gain extra height.

Sleeping habits and the importance of rest is the primary concern of the third chapter.

This is one of those areas where we could all do with some enlightenment. Many of us have long busy days and can sometimes neglect our sleep patterns; however it is unlikely that we are fully aware of the problems this may be causing in terms of our height growth rate.

This is a very detailed section of the system and talks about sleeping patterns, mattress and pillow related problems and important tips to help you sleep more comfortably and effectively.

The next part of this Grow Taller 4 Idiots review concerns chapter four, which many argue is possibly the most informational and useful sections of the grow taller system.

It’s entitles preliminary exercises and acts as an introduction for the reader to the element of exercise.

The chapter discusses the relevancy of exercise and explains the benefits and effects in great detail. It then moves on to list and illustrate a range of grow taller exercises that we can all undertake in our home, each one specially designed to help increase our height.

The illustrations are particularly useful and help to emphasize the importance and simplicity of each movement and exercise.

After being introduced to the preliminary exercise chapter, the reader will now be fully aware of the implications and advantages of good frequent exercises.

The next part we will talk about in the ‘Grow Taller 4 Idiots’ review will be the following consecutive chapters which are designed to expand on chapter 4 and the preliminary exercise information.

These next two chapters are called regular exercises and advanced exercises.

Obviously they are progressions of the preliminary exercises and each one should be tried only after becoming familiar with the prior programme. This way you will build up steadily and progress at the correct speed.

The regular and more advanced exercises found in this system are proven to have the most effective results for the reader, providing they are taking in to account and actually applying the techniques previously discussed throughout the prior chapters of the ebook system.

Finally the Grow Taller for Idiots ebook Review closes with a bonus chapter which is full of helpful little hints and tips to help you get the most out of your height.

Some of these include ideas for sitting correctly to increase posture and height, sports activities to help extend your spine and also the best way to ride a bicycle.

The Grow Taller 4 Idiots ebook review has found this particular system to be very interesting and most importantly, useful.

The suggestions and recommendations contained within the ebook are suited to everyday people who have normal lives. It won’t cost you a fortune with any specialist equipment and it’s something you can do on a daily basis in the comfort of your own home.

If you’re looking for a cost effective way to increase your height then you should certainly consider the ‘Grow Taller 4 Idiots’ ebook.

Now you’re aware of some of the important factors that are involved in increasing your height you’re probably a little concerned that it might be a bit too complicated and involved for you?

Well don’t panic, yes there is a lot of things to consider, and yes, there are a lot of conditions to meet to get the best results out of your efforts, but to begin with there are three basic rules you should follow.

We call this our ‘How to grow taller in 3 simple steps’ guide. For your efforts to be rewarded you will need to combine the three of the following:

Correct Nutrition

Regular Grow Taller Exercises

Enough Rest

For you to see the best results as fast as possible you will need to realize the importance of balancing all three of these components out.

It’s easy for us to sometimes choose an element we like and put all our efforts in to it, then we are surprised when the results aren’t as prominent as we originally wanted.

So, you need to make sure you adopt a self disciplined approach to this and make certain that you are including and balancing the correct nutrition, regular exercise and enough sleep to unlock the secrets of how to grow taller!

Don’t settle for average results, apply yourself fully and commit to achieving your goals and you’ll soon see why all the effort was worth it.

Not everybody will be successful, BUT everybody has the potential to be successful!

You may be wondering why some people do not reach their goals? Well quite simply, some of those who are trying to learn how to grow taller become frustrated when they do not see instant results.

This leads to them slacking on their efforts and eventually giving up completely. It’s an unfortunate truth but it is a truth none the less.

You should also try and understand that the human body is a complicated machine with many processes and functions all taking place at the same time each and every day.

These processes must be working with each other and not against each other for you to see results from your grow taller efforts!

This is why you should strive to find a balance between all of the factors we have been talking about. Only then will you really give your body the best chance of growing taller, quicker!

Obviously there are several other factors that will have an impact on your efforts to grow taller.

For instance, those individuals who generally have a bad posture or who slouch will find that they appear shorter than they are anyhow.

This is why posture is another area to think about, however the most important factors to consider are those ‘How to grow taller in 3 simple steps’ above.

The ebook Grow Taller 4 Idiots will give you a better understanding of these 3 simple steps. It will help you find ways to balance these three to maximize your height.

Also, it will give you very detailed advice about how to control the other factors in your life that influence your body as it is growing taller.

Click here for more information on Grow Taller 4 Idiots.

You’re probably wondering what the human height calculator is and if it really can work out yourmaximum natural height?

Well it’s true! It does exists.

Let me explain. Over the years extensive and thorough scientific research studies have been carried out all over the world to try and determine if it’s possible to predict a persons maximum natural height based upon a number of factors including their grandparents heights.

The results of these studies have told us that according to the human height calculator, the average height of a given male is the equivalent to the average heights of his grandparents and biological parents, which is then multiplied by a factor of 1.08 to give the answer.

Although studies have also highlighted that 95 out of the 100 males maximum natural height prediction is below the sum of their natural height plus three and a half inches.

The human height calculator also applies to females too. It shows that in the cases of women, the average height of a female is shown by the average height of their parents plus grandparents, which is then multiplied by a factor of 0.92 to get the answer.

This figure will show most females natural height quite accurately. Once again, studies show that 95 out of the 100 womens maximum natural height prediction is below the sum of their natural height plus two and a half inches.

So now I bet you’re wondering if the human height calculator can work for you right now?

Well give it a go and find out. To find out your maximum natural height you will need to know the average heights of your parents and grandparents, then use the formula shown below to work out your answer.

Your father’s height = F cm (inches)

Your mother’s height = M cm (inches)

Your father’s father’s height = FF cm (inches)

Your father’s mother’s height = FM cm (inches)

Your mother’s father’s height = MF cm (inches)

Your mother’s mother’s height = MM cm (inches)

If you are a male, with 95% certainty,

Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) = (F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 1.08 + 8.8 cm (3.5 inches)

If you are a male, with 99% certainty,

Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) = (F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 1.08 + 14 cm (5.5 inches)

If you are a female, with 95% certainty,

Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) = (F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 0.92 + 6.4 cm (2.5 inches)

If you are a female, with 99% certainty,

Your Maximum Natural Height in cm (inches) = (F + M + FF + FM + MF + MM) / 6 * 0.92 + 11.4 cm (4.5 inches)

Height Statistics Are Fun To Compare

One of the most astounding height statistics is that of the NBA player Jeremy Lin. Lin’s heritage is Asian American, a combination of Taiwanese and Chinese. The funny thing is that his parents were only 5’6” tall, yet he’s 6’3”.

Fewer than 0.5% of Men’s Division 1 basketball players are and were Asian-American. Think back to any time you ever watched basketball games. How many times did you see an Asian American on any team?

Probably none, since the average male height for a man in China is 5’4.9” and the average height of a woman there is 5’ 0.8”, less than 5’1” tall.

In Taiwan, the average male height is 5” 7.5” tall and the average height of a woman is 5’2.75” tall.

Compare these heights to the average male height in the U.S. of 5’10.2” tall and the average female height of 5’4.6” tall. And compare these heights to those in India and you see that the average height for a man in India is 5’ 5” tall and the average height of a woman in the same country is 5’ tall.

How Jeremy Lin Grew So Tall

On a radio interview on National Public Radio on Feb. 14, 2012, it was reported that when Jeremy was young, he “drank a lot of milk and took calcium tablets” so he could grow taller.

Jeremy grew up in Palo Alto, California and went to college at Harvard. He’s a player right now for the Golden State Warriors.

Jeremy’s strategy makes a lot of sense since studies prove that there’s a correlation between milk drinking and height. The more milk you drink, the taller you grow.

That means that if you’re a child and you love drinking pop (carbonated beverages), then forget about ever fulfilling a dream of being a basketball player.

In one of his recent games, Jeremy scored 32 points. He’s quickly becoming a “Lin-sensation” or as Magic Johnson said, “It’s official: Linsanity is for real!”

Height Statistics From Around The World

But let’s look at some other height statistics around the world and see who could be the tallest and / or the shortest.

Let’s first consider the continent of Europe. Here’s a little chart that sums up the average heights of the people there:

Next let’s consider the continent of South America. In Argentina, the average male height is 5’8.6” tall, which is taller than in Brazil where the average male height is 5’ 6.5”.

In Columbia, men are in between those two numbers. The average female height in Argentina is 5”3.4”, compared to 5’2.2” in Brazil, and Columbia is 5’ 2.4” tall.

What about the country down under? Is the height of the people down there down under the norm, too?

Well, do we have any tall people in Africa? It certainly seems that many Africans are tall – at least African Americans are – but it’s a well known fact that nutritional needs may not be met for many people in Africa. How does their average height compare to the other countries?
