Snacks For Growing Taller

Grow Taller Snacks

Do snacks for growing taller exist?

You won’t see snacks advertising that they make you grow taller, and that might be a good thing.

Types Of Snacks Available

The food industry is amazing in that they can create snacks for just about every condition that man wants to eat snacks for:

  • Energy
  • Athletic workout recovery
  • Gain weight
  • Immune system boosting
  • Appetite curbing
  • Diabetics
  • Low fat
  • Low carbohydrate
  • Body building
  • Gluten free
  • Low glycemic index

Have you seen any of these snacks on the market? The low carbohydrate snacks have produced a multimillion dollar industry for many companies. People want them and can’t seem to spend the time to create their own snacks!

But the food industry hasn’t yet acknowledged that there are people like you looking for snacks for growing taller. That’s why you’ll have to start reading labels and determine whether or not the snacks you want to eat are suitable for you and your purpose.

What To Consider When You Read The Labels To Grow Taller

Reading this information will change the way you perceive the foods you choose.

1. Fake Ingredients Are Not For Those Who Want To Grow Tall

Fake IngredientsThe first thing to consider is how many fake ingredients are in the snack. What do the ingredients say? Do you read real foods or is there a list of chemicals.

Chemicals will always interfere with your growth and your health. When you’re building a brand new body – and that’s what you do when you grow taller – you want every cell to be as healthy as possible.

Skip the protein bars with long lists of ingredients in them. Skip the snack foods that are basically desserts; they won’t nourish you enough to meet your needs.

2. How Many Sugars Do You Need To Grow Tall?

Corn SyrupThe second thing to consider on snack foods to grow taller is how many sugars are in them. The more sugars, the more you’ll grow sideways, not taller.

Stay away from corn syrup, dextrose, maltodextrin and other such types of sugars. They do your body no real good and you can count on only one thing from them: they will increase your food cravings for junk foods.

Eating these foods is not the way to grow taller.

3. Protein Content: Essential To Grow In Height

Protein To Grow TallerThe third thing to consider is whether or not there is protein in the food. Now if there is only 2-5 grams protein listed on the label of the snack food, you could add another protein food to it.

Make sure the snack food fits the first two requirements if you want to use the “Add more protein on my own” rule to the snacks you eat to grow taller.

And by the way, what proteins would you add? Well, complete proteins such as milk, yogurt, cheese, chicken, beef, lamb, turkey and pork.

The snack might be corn chips so you would add cheese on top of them to make them a type of nachos. You’ll find about 9 grams protein in a 3 ounce portion of grated cheese.

Or you could eat a few ounces of chicken or sliced beef with the corn chips and salsa. Each ounce of meat contains about 7 grams of protein.

To grow taller, you’re going to have to think outside the box. You want good high-quality protein in your diet, and you especially want dairy products.

4. Dairy Products Make You Grow Taller

Dairy ProductsThe next thing to consider is whether or not the snack contains milk or dairy products. You want it to if you want to grow taller. Milk contains growth factors that stimulate the long bones in your body to grow.

An alternative is to consume a glass of milk with the snack.

5. Carbohydrate Content: Important Info

Carbohydrate ContentThe last thing to consider about snacks to grow taller is the total amount of carbohydrates in the food. This is where it gets a little difficult.

If you want to grow taller, eliminating carbohydrates from your diet is not the way to go. So you will need some carbohydrates.

But if you choose snacks and foods with far too many carbohydrates, you open yourself up to getting diabetes – type 1 or type 2 – down the road.

There are so many snacks out there that have a questionable amount of carbohydrates in them. I’ve seen carrot cake – seemingly healthy, one might think – on the market and each slice is 58 grams of carbohydrates.

This is crazy and it’s a sure route to develop diabetes if the carrot cake becomes your favorite food. Not good!

So what we’re left with here is guidelines. How many is too much and how many is not enough?

Never worry about not getting enough. If you’re consuming dairy products, fruits, starchy vegetables, and grains, you’ll always have some carbohydrates in your diet.

The range in your snacks to grow taller is about 5 grams to 30 grams. Try not to exceed 30 grams for a serving of your snack food.

It’s the safest way to prevent a rush of sugar in your bloodstream and the insulin release that results afterwards.

You see, the insulin rush will make you grow wider and not taller. You’ll begin storing fat like there’s going to be a famine next week.

These are all the basics you need on how to choose snacks for growing taller.
